A word from the team regarding the floor plans: “We have observed that many of the apartments in the development feature spacious private terraces, often exceeding 30m2 in size and offering views in two different directions. In certain 2-bedroom units, it is possible to add a small bedroom (cabine) to accommodate additional sleeping capacity. However, we acknowledge that some of the 1-bedroom units have not been further optimised to include extra sleeping space (additional cabine/coin). Nevertheless, these 1-bed units offer ample living space for that sleeping type, with some exceeding 45m2. Additionally, we love the larger duplex units, which serve as excellent trophy properties. The inclusion of a bike garage is a welcomed addition.”
Reservation deposit is only 1,500€
Les Terrasses in Chamrousse houses 30 apartments, ranging from studios to 4-bedroom duplexes with terraces. Most of them offer panoramic views of the Vercors and large outdoor terraces or spacious living areas.
For added convenience, there will be underground parking, as well as a ski and bike storage area at your disposal. There will also be outdoor parking units just outside the building (9 units).
The shuttle stop at the foot of the building will allow you to reach all the slopes, including the main cable car, located 300 meters from the residence and rising to an altitude of 2250m.
A word from the architect: “The care given to the finishes, the warmth of wood, light-coloured coatings, large openings, and balconies make me say that it will be good to live in this privileged place integrated into the mountain.”
Chamrousse, just 30 km from Grenoble, now offers the closest high mountain access to a metropolitan area with a population of 700,000 and 70,000 businesses. The resort provides a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking in the Belledonne Massif, mountain biking, and climbing. The Alpine Park domain features over 90 km of slopes and a freestyle area with various difficulty levels. The Nordic domain, dedicated to cross-country skiing, spans a 44-hectare wooded natural area.
Access:
very easy access from Grenoble city. Grenoble have major international airlines landing including BA and EasyJet flying from UK. Other options are Lyon, Chambery and Geneva. You are also only 40 miles from Alpe d’Huez so you could try skiing there for the day.
The ski resort of Chamrousse gained fame thanks to famous French skier Jean-Claude Killy during the 1968 Olympic Games. Consisting of three ski villages, namely Chamrousse 1650 (Le Recoin), Chamrousse 1700 (Domaine de l’Arselle), and Chamrousse 1750 (Roche Béranger), Chamrousse is one of the oldest ski resorts in France. The ski area of Chamrousse, spanning across the three villages, offers a wide range of alpine and Nordic skiing slopes.
With over 90 km of slopes ranging from 1400 m to 2250 m in altitude, accessible through nearly 20 ski lifts, the Chamrousse ski area provides a terrain suitable for beginners and expert skiers. The Nordic skiing area is also superb (Arselle). The panoramic views over the peaks and the city of Grenoble down below are superb.
